Why this exists

The official answer already exists — FMCSA runs a mover lookup — but it is a form from the 2000s, buried three clicks deep, that asks you for a USDOT number you do not have. So people ask strangers on the internet instead, and get told to "check the BBB", which movers can game.

This site is that federal record, addressable by the company's name, on one page, with the complaint categories that matter to somebody who has already paid a deposit. Here is what each record does and does not prove.
